The first two species to dine at the feeders were goldfinches and chickadees, as shown above. Soon thereafter they were joined by house finches, tufted titmice, nuthatches, chipping sparrows, cardinals, and many others. Photographically speaking, I've been having quite a time of it, and in an attempt to avoid my usual confusion, this will be my base page for keeping a list of all my "feeder" photos.
My list has two subcategories. The birds that I've seen at or near our feeders have square bullets and those outside my immediate area (but within Pennsylvania) have open circle bullets. The date a page is added is kept for approximately a year.

As on the opening photo on this page, occasionally I photograph pairs of different species at the same feeder.
During March 2006, I've photographed some birds welcoming spring.
In May 2006, a pileated woodpecker and a red-bellied woodpecker shared suet.
On September 14, 2009, I had a particularly good birding/photography walk by Toftrees pond.
Special Note: Enormous thanks go to the State College Bird Club for help in identification as well as being a tremendous source of birding information and good people.
Photography note: The photo above was taken with a Pentax *ist D and the SMC-A* 300mm lens.
